Three Days of Rain

Three Days of Rain
By Richard Greenberg
November 21, 2017 to December 02, 2017

Titirangi Theatre's next production, and the last for 2017, is Three Days of Rain, written by American Richard Greenberg.

All the action takes place in an apartment in lower Manhattan, where the son and daughter of a recently deceased architect meet with their childhood friend, Pip, who is also the son of the architect's former business partner. Tempers erupt over the inheritance of a house, and hot words and misunderstandings ensue. Secrets alluding to the actual architect of the house become apparent.
In the second act, the same three actors take on the roles of the previous generation. It becomes clear that the children have very little idea of their parents' true characters and relationships. As the play proceeds, it seems that even the older generation have little idea of who their friends are and what they are capable of. On such things do families stand or fall.

The play opens at Titirangi Theatre on Tuesday November 21, and runs until Saturday December 2. Performance are at 8pm Tuesday to Saturday, with matinees at 2pm on Saturday November 25 and 4pm on Sunday November 26.

Directed by Duncan Milne who last year directed 'Messiah on the Frigidaire'.
